Abstract

'Role of women in Contemporary Politics, is a topic which has been under discussion of different groups of intellectuals and politicians . Some people consider the participation of women in politics necessary while others contradict the idea.
In the history of islam,women have taken part in social and politic activities Prophet era strengthens the view with the assistance of certain examples of women of their particiaption. By shouldering the men in jihad and warfare .Incident of Sulha Hudabia approved the role of Ume-e-salma as well .Furthermore women are bound to pay the responsibilities of family even in the case of participation in social activities.Rest of the moral conditions is applicable equally on both kind of gender without any discrimination.
In Pakistan,India and Bangladesh women have been on the post of Prime Minister but still the problems related to women could'nt be solved.Actually the reason behind the problems is of various types in nature.Some are related to the inefficent and corrupt authorities on higher ranks.Some are related to the discipline,corruption and tribal norms and values.Some are ignorance based.All the reasons should be evaluated and the steps should be taken in the light of evaluation.Participation of women should be made confirm in the system of government. However, we as women should be in limits while playing the role in politics and social activities according to the social norms.
