Abstract

The survival and stability of society depends on its moral values and pure ideas and deeds. For the survival and reformation of any society the Prophet peace be upon him has urged upon the abstinence of seven sins in hadith "sab'a mubqat" i.e to associate partner with Allah (shirk), Magic, Murder, embezzlement of Orphans' property, usury, Escape from jihad, and Chastity of women to accuse.
These sins can destroy any community. There are six of them which the Muslims not only take as sins but also feel embarrassed by committing them, but "escape from jihad" is the sin which Muslims have forgotten altogether. Today the main cause of destruction of Muslim Ummah is "escape from jihad". In fact the rise, honor and domination of Muslim Ummah, relies on jihad.
