Abstract

I am presenting the political thoughts of Dr Israr Ahmed in the light of Islamic Political Philosophy. Dr. Israr Ahmed holds a prominent position among the religious scholars of the modern times. Tanzeem e Islami, founded by Dr Israr Ahmed, due to its Ideological Thinking and Effective Organization, has a peculiar position among the religious parties of the country. He is a strong advocate of Caliphate. He considers vigorous efforts and hard work compulsory for the establishment of Hakumat e Elahiya(Rule of Allah).

The prominent quality of Dr Israr Ahmed’s political thinking is that he prefers to replace modern Democratic form of government with Islamic Caliphate System through peaceful opposition.  However, the thing which makes him distinguished from other opponents (militants) of modern Democratic form of government is his Peaceful Conflict Movement against Democracy. Politicsis an important pillar of Islamic Ideology and Philosophy. In this regard, all the Muslim political philosophers and thinkers, according to their times and place of living, presented their theories but these theories belong to the time when Islam was dominant, whereas, it is the quality of Dr Israr Ahmed’s vision that his theory deals with revival of Islamic Caliphate System after its down fall and for this he gives his theory of peaceful transition of Islamic Caliphate System.

It is necessary to cast a glance that what is the significance of Dr. Israr Ahmed’s Peaceful Conflict Movement in the Muslim thinking and philosophy because it is gaining popularity in literate stratum of the society and may have far reaching consequences in politics in coming days.
